01 — The Requirement
As a design studio, Valam's own website was the one project where mediocre wasn't an option — it's the piece every future client would judge the rest of the work against.
02 — The Challenge
A studio can't launch with a site that looks like a template, but it also can't over-design its own portfolio to the point where the work on display gets lost behind the interface around it.
03 — The Approach
We built a sharp, geometric wordmark and a minimal, typography-led layout, then spent most of the effort making sure the interface stayed out of the way of the projects themselves.
04 — The Process
Every screen got reviewed against one question: would this hold up if it were our own portfolio, not a client's. That bar stayed the same from the first wireframe to the final build.
05 — The Solution
Every layout decision was made to keep attention on the portfolio, not the interface around it.

06 — The Result
Valam's site now does what a studio's site should — reads as proof, not just a portfolio.
